Dog Training Services Offered:

All our methods are force-free, making use of scientifically-proven reward-based training methologies, such as clicker-training. This is the least aversive type of training, and encourages your canine companion to try new things and learn in a fun, appealing and rewarding way. I make use of food, toys, affection and enviromental rewards, and each pet has a training program tailor-made for what works best for them. Any pet can be trained, at any age, provided they are in good health.

We do not use harsh punishment or corrections, nor do I use equipment that uses fear or pain to gain co-operation from your pet.

All breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments are welcome in all our dog training programs.

Private Coaching and Training

Coaching is ideal for those who would like to do a course of training with their dogs, but are interested in learning how to train their dogs themselves. The first session is typically around 1.5 hours long and we will work on at least 1 behavior/cue during this session. Subsequent sessions are approximately an hour and most dogs learn 1-2 new behaviors per session. Coaching sessions happen once a week, giving you time to practice your new cues with your dog between sessions.

Day Camp Training

Day Camp sharpens and reinforces training, promotes positive behavior, and socializes your dog. This is an excellent opportunity for your canine to practice basic obedience, build strength and reduce stress.

Board & Train Dog Training

Board & Train Dog Training provides a “jump-start” for dogs and puppies who are new to training. This helps your canine respond to commands and enjoy walks and dog parks sooner. Not only that, Board & Train can help fast-track progress for dogs who’ve just started training. For more experienced dogs, Board & Train will fine-tune and even reboot current or past training and take it to the next level.

Behavior Modification

We work with all sorts of behavior issues and specialize in reactivity training. Does your dog bark, lung, or growl? Have issues with others in the household? Are they fearful? We can help you work through all of this with your dog while building a great relationship with your dog.

Behavioral Modification is suitable for pets who display behaviors such as:

  • Excessive vocalizations
  • Digging / scratching
  • Resource guarding
  • Inappropiate urination and/or defecation
  • Destructive chewing and/or clawing
  • Hyperactivity
  • Aggression
  • Fears and phobias
  • "Abnormal" behaviors
